Discover My Origins

Where I’m From

A place that shaped my roots, my memories, and the way I see the world.

My Roots

I was born and raised in Lima, Peru — a city that holds every version of me. My whole family lives there, and it’s the place where I grew up surrounded by warmth, noise, tradition, and the kind of love that never leaves you.

Peru is more than just where I’m from; it’s the foundation of who I am.

Growing Up in Lima

A Journey Through My Childhood

Memories of Villa Caritas

My School Years

Reflecting on my years at Villa Caritas will always bring me a sense of warmth and nostalgia. I had the best time there — the kind of days where you laugh until you cry, make a little too much noise in class, and somehow learn just as much outside the classroom as inside. The teachers were incredible. They taught me more than academic subjects — through their patience, guidance, and genuine care, they shaped many of the values I still carry with me today: empathy, kindness, resilience, loyalty, and the importance of showing up for others.

The environment itself felt alive. There was so much school spirit, so many traditions that we grew up hearing about and finally got to experience to their fullest in our final year. There was comfort in every hallway, familiarity in every routine, and a strong sense of belonging that made it feel like home.

Growing Up Together

And then there were the friendships — fun, chaotic, grounding, supportive, and truly one-of-a-kind. We grew up together, shared every stage of life, and created memories that still make me smile: long breaks spent talking about everything and nothing, inside jokes that no one else would understand, and moments of shared struggle where we lifted each other up.

Even though distance separates many of us now, nothing changes when we see each other again. It always feels like no time has passed. The friendships I made there are part of my family, and that will always be one of the most special parts of my life.

THE BEAUTY OF MY HOME COUNTRY

Why Peru Will Always Be My Favorite Place

Even after traveling to so many places, Peru will always be the one that feels closest to my heart. There’s something about its energy — the mix of history, culture, nature, and warmth — that makes me feel connected in a way no other place does. Every time I’m home, I’m reminded of how beautiful it is: the landscapes, the traditions, the people, the rhythm of life…

And the food… I could talk about it forever. I truly believe Peruvian gastronomy is the best in the world. Every dish feels meaningful in its own way — full of flavor, tradition, and a sense of home that I haven’t found anywhere else.

No matter where I go, Peru carries a softness and a strength that stays with me. It’s the place that raised me, shaped me, and continues to be my favorite corner of the world.

A Deep Connection

A Sense of Home

I’ve lived and experienced life in many places, but Peru is the place that raised me and shaped the way I see the world — a place that brings me back to myself. It’s where my family is, where my memories started, and where I always feel grounded. No matter where life takes me, it’s the place that feels most like home.
